I started doing group Pilates sessions with Sónia, but quickly moved on to individual at-home sessions combining Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates.

Although I enjoyed the group classes, the one-on-one sessions are highly personalised and helped me achieve my goals faster and with greater attention to detail.

During pregnancy and postpartum, it was essential in addressing the issues that arose, maintaining my health, and supporting a strong recovery.

Sónia is an incredible physiotherapist with a very attentive approach. I always felt that the root cause of my symptoms was thoroughly investigated and that the plan was immediately adapted to my needs.

Having the sessions at home makes things much easier, especially given my schedule. It allows me to shower, have a meal at home with my mother (who I do the sessions with), and then head to work.

It’s also much more personalised than what you would get at a gym, and I believe we receive far better guidance in performing the exercises correctly since it’s just the two of us.

I have been Sónia’s patient for around six years, as I have a chronic condition that requires highly specialised and regular care.

At-home sessions make things much easier, allowing me to avoid travelling to a clinic and offering greater flexibility in scheduling. The treatment is naturally very individualised, tailored to my condition and to any symptoms or difficulties that arise at the time. Sónia is exceptional at making use of the available space and resources, both inside and outside the home, and at adjusting the treatment whenever necessary.

Without these personalised sessions, my day-to-day life would certainly be much more challenging.

As an athlete, the sessions with Daniel, which I attend whenever necessary, are extremely important for my physical recovery after more intense periods of activity. Over the past 10 years, I have placed complete trust in Daniel for my injury recovery.

He is always available to answer questions and guide me in the best direction for prevention. His flexibility with my schedule and coming to my home with all the necessary equipment are essential.

Physical therapy at home provided so many benefits for me with my condition, especially with Sónia. Having rehabilitation with her allowed me to get top quality physical therapy and care, even if i could not comfortably leave my home or was not able to. She is extremely talented and experienced in working with all types of physical issues, with tremors, shaking, weakness, muscle soreness or pain, and regaining function that seemed much more difficult without her expertise. She always makes the sessions productive, and motivating, brings all her equipment, and is very friendly. I could not recommend a better physical therapist than Sonia.

I felt that my experience with Sónia was beneficial, especially since I had previously seen several physiotherapists and felt that none of them had the insight or knowledge to treat me properly. Having sessions at home helped me stay consistent and motivated.

The truth is that I haven’t been her patient for a few years now, and I’ve never gone back to how I was before. She basically changed my life. I used to have many more episodes of sciatica than I do today, and the “chronic” stiff neck I had disappeared.
